
We are drink tea everyday and most of us several cups without even knowing that the tea we are drinking is actually good for our bodies. Many teas have high concentrations of antioxidants that will help us fight such diseases as cancer and more. Other teas have vitamin C which will increase and boost your immune system to fight such things as common colds. Others have different properties that will fight stress, reduce chances of strokes, control blood pressure, digestion, depression and boosting our energy levels and many more types of illness we can have in today’s world.
Here is a list of five different teas and there healing properties:
Black Tea
This is the most popular type of tea in the western world. After the leaves are picked from the farms they are fermented until they are fully black. The taste of black tea is a flowery, fruity and some can be spicy or nutty. Black teas are well known for there ability to help reduce the risk of getting a stroke and antioxidants to help reduce clotting of our arteries. Variations are English breakfast, Earl Grey, Rose black tea.
Paraguay Mate
This one is hugely popular in the South Americas, Paraguay Mate is brewed with the inclusion of spices and drunk though a straw. The health properties include such things as digestion, depression and boosting our energy levels.
Oolong Tea
Oolong is made from mature teas and is well known for lowering cholesterol and aiding in our digestion. The leaves after picking are left to wither which will take out the moisture and semi fermentation then occurs while being left in the shade. Oolong has a full bodied taste and will leave a nice aftertaste and gives of a fruity aroma. Some variations are Jasmine Oolong Tea, Ice peak Oolong, and hairy Crab Oolong.
Milk Tea
The most popular form of tea from the India and Sir Lanka, Made from an Indian tea and will be mixed with spices. The name comes from the fact that its is made with milk and spices and hence the name. The spices included are Cardamom, ginger and cinnamon.
Wild Holy Tea
Wild Holy has a bitter taste and is generally used for medical purposes, such as to aid in blood circulation and help to improve your bodies digestion. If taken regularly, Wild Holy has been showed to even control our blood pressure and with obesity.
