The leaves of Moringa are valued for their high selenium content. Does the soil’s sel. content a factor?

Are the leave’s selenium content affected by the amount of selenium in the soil where the tree is grown? (Is there a direct correlation between the soil’s selenium content and the tree’s leaves’ selenium content?).

Yes, depleted soil yields depleted crops. That’s why agronomy came into being. Soil is tested to see what it needs and it is replenished, however, I don’t think micro nutrients are often added.
